Sofia Torres Prida is a professional photographer exploring and documenting culture and community. She has studied and worked in Switzerland, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, the Dominican Republic and the United States, and has both a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in Photography (Zurich University of the Arts, Switzerland) and a Master's in Strategic Design and Management (Parsons School of Design, New York).
In November 2021, she published her first book Sueños y Gloria (Dreams and Glory), in which she documents the experiences of poverty, migration, and success of the most prominent figures of Dominican baseball history. She currently lives in New York and continues to explore Dominican identity from different perspectives.
